About


Umme Salma is an assistant professor at the Department of Economics, Premier University, Chattogram. She has been awarded the “SAARC Silver Jubilee Scholarship” from South Asian University, New Delhi, India, and accomplished her M.A. in Economics with a Specialization in Economic Development. Before starting her career, she completed a B.S.S. (honors) and an M.S.S. in Economics from the University of Chittagong. She has 14 years of teaching experience in the field of Economics. Initially, she started her career as a lecturer in Economics at the reputed Omar Gani M.E.S. University College, Chattogram. She is pursuing a Ph.D. at the Department of Economics, at the University of Chittagong. Her passion is to serve the nation with quality education.
