The Department of Computer Science and Engineering, one of the university's oldest departments, has played a pioneering role in computing education since 2002. With its undergraduate and graduate programs, modern laboratories, and internationally affiliated academies such as Cisco, AWS, and Red Hat, the department is preparing students for the rapidly evolving world of computing, artificial intelligence, data science, and the Fourth Industrial Revolution. Alumni of this department are working in leading software companies, multinational technology firms, and research institutions, while many have pursued higher studies in renowned universities around the world in fields such as Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Cyber Security, and Software Engineering

The Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, established in 2008 and accredited by BAETE in 2023, is dedicated to producing skilled engineers capable of meeting the demands of modern electrical, electronic, and technological industries. The department emphasizes innovation, research, industry collaboration, and hands-on learning through modern laboratories and active student engagement in robotics, projects, and competitions. Alumni are contributing to the power, energy, telecommunications, electronics, and manufacturing sectors, with many holding responsible engineering positions in industry, government organizations, and international companies. Several graduates have also pursued postgraduate and doctoral studies in reputed international universities.

The Department of Architecture offers a comprehensive and creative program that integrates art, science, technology, environment, and culture. The program emphasizes design studios, environmental awareness, sustainability, and professional practice, preparing students to become responsible architects capable of addressing local and global challenges related to urbanization, environment, heritage, and human habitat. The graduates of Architecture are working in reputed architectural firms, real estate and development organizations, and urban planning and design projects, contributing to sustainable design, urban development, and environmentally responsible architecture both nationally and internationally.

As the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, my vision is to promote Outcome-Based Education (OBE) and quality assurance (QA) activities, research culture, university-industry collaboration, and innovation-driven teaching-learning within the faculty. We are committed to continuous quality improvement, accreditation standards, modern laboratory development, research publications, and collaboration with national and international institutions and industries.

Our goal is not only to produce graduates but to develop future engineers, researchers, innovators, and leaders who are technically competent, ethically responsible, socially aware, and capable of working in a global environment.
